Maple Butter Tarts

TOTAL TIME: 30 mins

INGREDIENTS

2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vinegar
1/2 cup Fulton’s Organic Maple Syrup
6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
2/3 cup chopped walnuts or any chopped nuts or raisins

 

INSTRUCTIONS

 

Beat eggs only until yolks and whites are well blended.

 

Beat in sugar and salt - add vinegar and maple syrup. Mix well and add melted butter and nuts or raisins.

 

Line muffin tins with pastry and fill 2/3 full.

 

Bake at 450F for the first 10 minutes and then reduce temperature to 350F - and bake for another few minutes - watching carefully - as not to burn them. Let cool and serve.
