Mitchell's Sleigh Rides
Frank Mitchell and his son, Randy, have worked with horses their entire lives, both on and off their family farm. Frank spent many years pulling cable for Bell Canada with his horses and Mitchell's Sleigh Rides have been part of many parades and fairs over the years. In 1999, the Mitchell's joined the Fulton family, operating their sleigh rides with one, two or even three teams of horses at a time.

You can visit the Mitchell's family farm in Middleville, ON, during the Christmas holiday season for family or group sleigh rides (approx. 45 mins). Take a tour through their fields and magical winter forest.

Chad has taught high quality outdoor skills in a variety of environments including schools, universities, and his own business. He developed the bush craft activities for one of the original wilderness survival shows called The Bare Necessities on the BBC when shooting in Ontario. He has trained under notable instructors such as Tom Brown Jr., Mors Kohanski, and many other experts. He has published works in journals, books, tracking posters, and pocket field guides.

Ken Ramsden, Entertainer
Ken is a family entertainer from the Madawaska Valley near Algonquin Park. Ken has been featured on the Tommy Hunter Show, Sharon, Lois and Bram's The Elephant Show, and Eric's World. In the past he has also been invited to perform in both the Canada Pavilion and Ontario Pavilion at the world fair Expo 86 held in Vancouver, BC.

Ken shares with us a strong passion for Canadian heritage and certainly adds to the atmosphere in our pancake house. He can be found singing and playing a variety of instruments in our pancake house or on stage at several events in both Ontario and Quebec. Ken enjoys working as a solo artist, collaborating with other artists, or with the band Freshwater Trade.
