MAPLE, GARLIC AND oNION DRESSING

A delicious combination of Fulton's Organic Maple Syrup, garlic and onion flavours. Drizzle over a beet, squash, spinach and quinoa salad. Mmmm, delicious!

PREPARATION TIME: 15 mins

COOKING TIME: 25 mins

SERVINGS: Makes 2 cups

 

INGREDIENTS

 

3/4 cup (175ml) vegetable oil

1 head garlic, separated into cloves and peeled

1 large onion, roughly chopped

1/3 cup (75ml) apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup (50ml) Fulton's Organic Maple Syrup

2 tsp. (10ml) coarse grain Dijon mustard

salt & pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

​

In large skillet, heat 2Tbsp (25ml) of the oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion; reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally, until very tender, about 25 minutes. Cool.

Scrape into blender along with remaining oil, vinegar, Fulton's Organic Maple Syrup, mustard and salt & pepper. Blend until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
