Submitted by Ginette Aube-Williams of Arnprior – Winning Dessert Recipe. “This recipe is popular in Québec. Recipe varies from region to region. In depression time, when maple syrup was not readily available, brown sugar and water was used to make the syrup. This is my adaptation of an original recipe.”
