PREP TIME: 20 mins
TOTAL TIME: 8 hours
SERVINGS: 10-12
INGREDIENTS
​
1 pound dry white pea beans (about 2 cups)
1 cup Fulton's Organic Maple Syrup
1/2 cup chili sauce
1 small onion
2 tsp salt
1 tsp dry mustard
2 cups boiling water
INSTRUCTIONS
​
Place beans in a large saucepan, cover with water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 1 hour. Drain.
In a bowl mix together all remaining ingredients.

Pour syrup mixture over beans and add boiling water. Cover and bake at 300 F (150 degrees C) for 6-7 hours, adding more water as needed to keep beans moist.
